Quick, High Protein Lean Turkey & Slaw Rice Bowl

  • Package of ground or chicken turkey breast (the turkey breast has slightly more protein than the regular ground turkey)
  • Two packages of microwaveable rice (I love basmati and brown basmati)
  • Two packages of kale or broccoli slaw
  • Slap yo mama seasoning 
  • Salt and pepper
  1. First, season the ground turkey with salt, pepper and slap yo mama seasoning.
  2. Then brown the meat.
  3. Next, add the two packages of slaw to the pan.
  4. Season with salt, pepper and slap yo mama seasoning.
  5. Then cover and let steam for about 10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the rice in the microwave.
  7. Divide the rice into your containers (4 or 5, I do 5 because it is for the week)
  8. Divide the turkey and slaw mixture amongst the containers.
  9. Finally, cover and refrigerate.
  10. Reheat when you are ready to eat
